If you're after a quiet long weekend, this is a great spot. It's secluded, with pleasant surroundings and a nice park featuring a pond, Koi fish, and a waterfall. Dinner had a good range of choices, and I recommend the grilled fish. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the staff were friendly. You can see the owners are doing their best to make guests comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised and highly recommend it. We'll come back to see the area around Miedwie lake and its many remains from the past.

The decor gave me the impression of an old mansion or a luxurious hunting palace. The map showed a lake nearby, which might make a nice fishing pond, though I only had one brief night here. The sirloin was among the most tender I've eaten, and the staff were good. Prices seemed reasonable, too. With comfy beds, quiet surroundings, and fresh air, I slept well.

A fantastic place to stay for a few days.

The garden is lovely and the food very good, though the portions are a little small. It's a pleasant place overall, but there are things to improve. The building sits outside the city in a quiet neighborhood, about a 10-minute walk from the lake. WiFi is available, but the internet is slow. The room air conditioning is either controlled through reception, or you can carry a portable unit up to your room yourself. The head of staff always seems grumpy. Also, after 10pm the building is locked, and guests don't have a key to get in or stay outside.
