The breakfast was great, with a bit of everything and good coffee. They were the only place that replaced our water each day. We stayed for 2 nights and got a spacious triple room. The location is top, and the huge car park is off the road. There’s no air-conditioning, as advertised, so a hot night could be uncomfortable. We took the duvets off and opened the windows, which made it okay to sleep. No fridge in the room, though one showed up in the corridor on day 2. There’s no kettle either, but by the lift there are 3 with cups, instant coffee and sugar. After last year’s horror reviews, maybe things changed. The rooms weren’t pristine, but the furniture seemed fairly new and the carpet may have been replaced. The shower cubicle didn’t leak! The bed was a bit hard, so we put a duvet under the sheet. Cotton linen and towels were good. The owner’s eccentric, which we found refreshing, and he always asked if everything was okay.

The owner even turned up at our departure point to watch the spectacle of run-down cars heading off 🙂. We had a great night at the hotel, with clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. There was a range of cold cuts, different breads and buns, eggs, and so on.

There’s a modern elevator, and our room was clean. Breakfast was okay, neither great nor bad, and I liked the scrambled eggs. The location is great, close to the town centre, and parking worked well for our motorbikes. There was lots of old stuff to look at, and the owner was very joyful.

The location is good, but the rooms were dirty. The owner was very unpleasant and talked about people to strangers. Breakfast wasn’t tasty, and the cold cuts were old. I got salmonella from the eggs. I strongly advise against staying here.

It’s a cheap hotel right in the middle of Stargard. Room 25 had a strange smell, and someone had smoked in there. The receptionist only spoke German. The reception felt like a trip back to 1945. I’ll let you judge for yourself next time you’re at this hotel whether that’s fine or not.
