The location was a plus, and although the beach takes a bit of a walk, there are melexes near the center, along with plenty of bars and shops. The kitchenette had everything needed to make meals, and the coffee machine and wine glasses were nice extras. There were lots of towels and the bedding was fresh. The main issue was the cleaning. It looked tidy only on the surface: sand in corners and around furniture, dust bunnies under the table, crumbs and bits of food on the sofa. The balcony furniture was so dirty we had to wash it ourselves. The bathroom was generally okay, but had been wiped down carelessly. We even found old receipts on the floor, probably left by previous guests, and it seemed the floor hadn’t been washed in a long time. Just walking around the apartment left our socks black, which was a hassle with our one-year-old son. One bedside lamp had a dead bulb. There was no microwave. We had to check out by 10, but waited half an hour from 9 and nobody showed up at reception.

The location is good, but outside there’s a large garbage bin with a strong smell. Inside, the walls and floors were dirty, with dust and cobwebs everywhere. It’s hard to call this an apartment when it’s such a mess. The chairs were dingy and worn out too. Reading the comments now, I wish I’d checked them sooner.

The rate, over 500 PLN a night, doesn’t match the standard. The rooms were dirty and only superficially cleaned, the towels were too few, and the beds were dirty and very uncomfortable, with springs sticking out that gave us backaches. An extra bed was available on request, for 20 PLN per night. Parking was available but very limited, and the space was so low that getting in and out was difficult.

The photos on Booking.com when I booked made it look like there’d be a sea view, but we ended up looking at the restaurant. I rented apartment no. 7 at 21 Morska Street. It’s very close to the beach and restaurants, about as close as you could get. The apartment was small and clean, but had no kitchenette or basic cleaning supplies. The Wi-Fi was weak, and the kettle and TV had terrestrial television. For the price, it was too small for me.
