The friendly, joking service gives this place a real seaside fish-and-chips feel. The fish is so fresh, and the fries are golden; the salads are plentiful too. Portions are huge, so you leave happy and nearly too full to move. I've already been twice and I'm thinking about a third visit soon. Probably the best fish-and-chip shop around! 🍽️🐟😄😎

The crayfish soup was a lovely way to warm up after our walk, and the pike-perch and pork chop with mushrooms were first-rate. At Bistro Mewa, the food was delicious, prices reasonable, and service both professional and really friendly. We wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely come back. 😃

The flowers and the full bird feeder outside the window caught my eye, and the interior was clean. The mulled wine was good, and both the crayfish soup and fish soup were first-rate, beautifully presented after a walk. This is just a review of the bistro, not the guesthouse, and it was out of season. It was one of the few places open in February, which deserves credit. The staff were great, and the owner was friendly and easy to talk to. Fingers crossed they make it through the season.
