Pałac Będlewo

There’s not much to do here, and the breakfast was poor, perhaps because of the location. The hotel also falls short in basic room comforts: no refrigerator and no air conditioning. Think twice before booking.

I was there as a volunteer and native English speaker, so my stay may not match the average guest’s. I still loved my time there. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the food was excellent. Well worth visiting. :)

I loved the campus architecture, and there was lots of room for the conference. I stayed in one of the cottages, which was very nice apart from some bugs and a bit of a smell from recent fertilizing. You won’t go hungry here.

We booked two nights in a deluxe room, which was beautiful, but only found out after paying that the restaurant and bar shut at 6 pm, even on a weekend. There was nowhere within walking distance to get food or a drink. The receptionist tried her best, but do check opening hours before paying. We were told the chef would serve dinner only at 17.30, which is ridiculous for 420 a night. We felt treated like second class citizens. The bathrooms in palace room 6 flood. Shame on you! We would have left if we hadn’t already paid for both nights. Two stars for the room, now reduced to one.
