Hotel Avion

The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is in a handy spot in this small town near the airport. The room was basic but comfortable, with a nice old-fashioned look and memorabilia from the 60s and 70s.

The rooms were very clean, and breakfast was good. Staff even helped arrange a reasonably priced taxi for the morning. It’s less than ten minutes from the airport, so it worked well for a stopover. A hairdryer in the room would be useful, but otherwise it was a perfect stay.

At 25 euros a night, the price was excellent, which is why I’m giving it four stars despite a few shortcomings. It’s a simple hotel, easy to reach from Lublin by public transport and well located. The rooms are spacious and clean, though the TV is small and there’s no hairdryer. Breakfast is basic, with limited choice.

The room was comfortable, with a bed I liked, an alarm clock with radio, and windows that open. There were nice views, and pets are allowed, though smoking isn’t. The blinds let in quite a bit of sun, and I could hear noise from inside and outside the building. It wasn’t especially loud, and things outside got quiet around 10 pm until about 5 am, but light sleepers may notice it. The bathroom also had no shelves for toiletries, and my standard room had no fridge or microwave. There’s free water at reception, an elevator, a lounge with reading material, a bar, TV, Wi-Fi, and wake-up calls. Breakfast costs extra, and you can request a hairdryer. Staff were friendly and can help you get around or hold valuables while you’re out. Security cameras are in place, and forgotten belongings are kept for up to three months. Rooms were clean and tidy.
