Hotel Buczynski Medical Spa

We got good value for the price, and everyone except the bar lady was nice. The building is lovely and fairly close to the center. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the mattress was way too soft. The parking was easy to get to by elevator, and the food was delicious in a nice dining room decorated for Valentines. The sauna is small, and the room fridge is poor. The bar lady wasn’t attentive: when we were standing right in front of her ready to order, she kept going off to wash glasses, even though it wasn’t busy.

A quiet, nicely located hotel with good food and friendly service. The pool is a decent size and there are two jacuzzis. We enjoyed the water jet massage. There’s only one sauna in the wellness area, which might be an issue if you’re really into saunas.

To hotel management: We, ID klienta 25134, stayed at your hotel from 14. to 17.11. and had a mostly pleasant visit, until we went to the spa-resort. The workers, perhaps nurses, spoke no other language despite there being several of them. I speak six languages, including English and German, so communicating was extremely difficult. We arrived at 3 p.m. and were told on the first day that everything was full and we couldn’t have any procedures. Yet that same supposedly full day, we both had a 15-minute water bed massage, a 15-minute pearl bath, and 30 minutes of oxygen inhalation in a massage chair with a cup of tea. The next day, 15.11., we each had a 15-minute Crystal lamp application, a face massage, and a soft body massage with warm oil, although we had asked for a regular body massage. The only price list we found was on your website, and it listed just a few treatments, each at 60 zl. The other services and their prices weren’t properly listed anywhere. Staff couldn’t explain what was available or what they would do. At checkout yesterday, we received bill Nr P/8683/2025/HM: Zabiegi ZW 1x 240 zl SPA 23% 1x 880 zl Akwamaryn Krysztalove lampy 2x 480 zl Akwamaryn Abhyanga spa 2x 600 zl But our treatments were: Water bed massage 2x, which should be 2x 60 zl according to your price list Pearl bath 2x, also listed at 2x 60 zl Oxygen inhal. 2x Akwamaryn Crystal lamp 2x Face massage 2x Massage with warm oil 2x Please explain the discrepancy. Guests should be told what the spa offers and what it costs, instead of getting an unpleasant surprise when they leave. We liked the a la carte options so much that we ate at the hotel every evening, though there’s also a very good buffet dinner. The spa and pool were excellent, and ending the day in the outdoor hot tub was a must. The service from check-in right through checkout was exceptional, so we even added another night. Nothing to fault. SkyWalk is a short walk away and visible from the hotel, with lots of wonderful forest walks in the surrounding area.
