Malinowy Dwór Hotel Medical SPA

It’s a nice place, but the hotel layout is poor and finding your way around is difficult. There weren’t any teabags in the room, and the mountain view we paid for wasn’t there.

We were there for more than a week and paid around 3 thousand, yet we felt unwanted. At first the front desk lady said our room would be ready by 18 at the latest, but there was a 30 minute delay. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned and for water.

We came to use the SPA between Christmas and NYE. The first thing we saw was dog poop all over the parking area, right where you step out of the car. Great start. Reception staff were super unfriendly and just wanted to charge us quickly without giving any information. We paid 300 zlotych (70 euros) for a sauna visit for two, and I expected something nice for that price. No such luck. We got lost in the hotel because you have to go through the cafe and restaurant to reach the sauna. Changing meant using a hallway with lockers, with nowhere to sit or put your things. Getting changed there while people walked past and you were naked was not a great experience. We weren’t given any towels, and could only spend 45 minutes in the sauna because they were closing at 17. So, 300 zlotych for 45 minutes. What a deal. Never again! If you want a sauna or pool, try Libverda Spa in CZ, where it’s 10 euros for 90 minutes of sauna and pool, and the people are lovely.

We only visited for wellness and didn’t stay at the hotel. We were very happy with the experience, especially the outdoor jacuzzi. The pool was great too, and we enjoyed the saunas. We just didn’t like having to use ordinary towels because no sauna sheets were provided.
