The only bad encounter I had was with the staff member in charge of the peat mud treatment (borowina). She was abrupt and could use a social skills course. Apart from that, I really enjoyed my stay and plan to return. The reception team was helpful and flexible when I asked for a quiet room with good Wi-Fi, and they showed me several options. Some rooms were noisy, so being able to choose mattered. The restaurant and bar staff were kind and attentive, and the food was fresh, delicious, and had a great range each day:)) The treatment staff were professional, friendly, and funny, which made those visits enjoyable too.

The price looked appealing, and now we understand why. The hotel seems to hold onto its four stars through required equipment, but that equipment has seen better days. The photos on booking make everything look much nicer. There was an unpleasant kitchen smell in the corridors, and eventually in our room too. The booking listing promised bathrobes, but all we found in the closet were two larger towels, mismatched and of a very strange quality. The bathroom looked like it belonged in the 70s/80s, and the sink was cracked. The furniture was worn as well. The reception looked more like a hostel, and the woman there didn’t know much about the situation. She told us booking required payment of 50% of our booked stay. We paid right away and left for a much better hotel.

Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. The spa was fantastic, and breakfast was fantastic again. The only issue was that private parties were being held on both Friday and Saturday, so we were told the bar wasn’t available to regular hotel guests.
