Hotel Interferie Medical SPA

We enjoyed our stay well enough, but wouldn't return. A big part of that was the spa: it felt worn and in need of renovation, with missing pool tiles, including on areas people walk or sit on, and broken sauna light switches with wiring exposed. The breakfast and dinner buffet was in a huge hall with lots of tables and people, more like a school cafeteria than a comfortable restaurant. Food was okay, though more fruit and juice choices would have helped. The coffee wasn't nice and the cups were too small. Our room was okay, but being near the stairs and elevator made it noisy in the early hours. We paid less than half what the Radisson cost at the same time. The hotel seemed to cater to an older crowd, 75 and up, which may explain the atmosphere.

Breakfast was good and dinner was okay. The hotel is really close to the beach, and there's a lot to do, but the evening atmosphere seemed aimed at older guests. It felt very much like a hotel for older people, with very few families around.

The pool was great, the food was good, and the beds were comfortable. The balcony was tiny, the towels old, and the huge apartment had no view from either side. For the price, I expected shampoo and conditioner, plus four cups and four tea bags for four people in the room. Little things like that make a big difference. It was very expensive.

Having the beach so close and an indoor pool that's easy to get to made a big difference to our holiday. It's kid friendly, the location is great, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. Good value for the money.
