We were left without anywhere to stay after the owner canceled our reservation on the day we were due to arrive. The booking had been guaranteed with a card more than a month earlier, and the owner could have charged it at any time. The bank hadn't rejected a payment, and there'd been no attempt to collect one. Sky Rooms oversells rooms and then, when availability gets low, lists them again at a higher price. Instead of our reservation, we were immediately offered accommodation at the same price in a commercial unit slightly converted into a room. We feel scammed, and this seems worth reporting to the police.

A reasonably priced room close to Swinoujscie Centrum train station. The location is excellent, about 10 minutes from the Baltic Sea and 10 minutes from the city. Breakfast is available if requested.

Downstairs there are shops, a bar, and a restaurant, and the sea is nearby too. My room was very nice, with everything I needed: a kettle, fridge, and towels. The weather was great as well, so I was happy with the stay.

It’s more like a small apartment than a hotel, so there’s no room service or cleaning during the stay. The room itself was clean and nicely furnished, and the little fridge and kettle with a Brita filter were useful. It also had German channels like Pro7, Sat1, and RTL. The landlord was friendly, helpful, and very nice. The shower was the downside: almost no pressure, even though the sink had more, and the water kept going hot or cold.

A basic room for a very good price, right across from the Swinoujscie-Centrum UBB train station. Shops, bars, and restaurants are just next door.
