A great hotel.

There are spacious rooms with good amenities and comfortable beds, in a good spot in the park district. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of dishes, drinks, and desserts to choose from. There's a fenced parking lot, and the locked bicycle garage was especially useful for us. I recommend it.

We had a lovely week and would happily come back. The staff were especially kind and helpful, particularly at reception, and the breakfast was generous, with lots of choice. The women keeping the buffet going did a great job, and there was usually freshly made scrambled egg, plus fried eggs with crispy ham every other day or so. I did miss having whole boiled eggs, though. They were served halved with remoulade, which isn't really my thing. Our room, No. 35, was on the top floor. It wasn't especially big, but it suited us fine for the price. We also had the small balcony we always want in a hotel room. The building was well kept, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, and it had an elevator. A couple of little things: there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom, so the paper was just left lying there, and the sink was pretty small. Still, there are worse things.
