The hosts were gracious and very friendly, and the cottages sit above the main road to Szczawnica with a lovely view of the Pieniny National Park. It's right by the Dunajec River and the bridge toward Krościenko and the Pieniny National Park. Cyclists can join the bike path toward Czerwony Klasztor, Lake Czorsztyńskie, or Krościenko, and it's a great starting point for mountain walks too. A lovely base for a Pieniny holiday.

Just a short distance from the center of Szczawnica, Szare Domki is in a great spot. The cottage was even lovelier than it looked in the photos, clean, cared for, and stocked with what we needed. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Szarych Domkach, right in the heart of the Pieniny, with the sound of the Dunajec nearby. The hosts were warm, welcoming and always ready to help. We'd happily come back.

The dogs came back cleaner than they arrived, and we came away rested and happy. Cabins 1 and 2 were cozy, well kept and well equipped, the host was friendly, and there was plenty to do nearby. After reading the negative reviews, we had expected a survival camp, with the dog getting a tapeworm and us ending up with stained clothes. If you like complaining and survival, this probably isn't your place 😉

We remember our stay at „Szare Domki” in Szczawnica fondly, and we're sure we'll return. The cottages were clean, cared for and full of character, tucked away from noise but still close to the center and local attractions. Ours was well equipped, with two upstairs bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was a big plus. The owner was friendly and helpful.
