The room was spotless and had everything we needed, and breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. The owners are friendly and happy to help. A great place, I recommend it!

The location high up the hill makes getting out difficult for older people and families with children. And despite being called a villa, it’s really a house. The rooms are basic and feel old. The carpet was dirty, there was no TV, and though we told the owner, she was upset that she hadn’t known. I’d have expected a lower price, since TV and internet were listed but weren’t actually available. The bedding looked about 20 years old and was that rough bark-textured kind. The refrigerator in the room hadn’t been cleaned either. The hallway kitchenette is so tiny you can barely fit one person in it. The toilet flush is weak, not even the toilet paper goes down, and the towels smelled musty. Luckily, we’d brought our own. For such an exorbitant price, I can’t recommend this place.

We really enjoyed the grill the hosts put on, and they were lovely people too. The villa is peaceful, away from the main road, but still close to everything, including the trails. Best of all was the beautiful view of Palenica from the balcony. Thanks for having us. I recommend staying at villa Hamernik.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and it’s close to the center while still being peaceful. I loved having coffee on the terrace with the birds singing. The rooms are roomy and lovely, and the bathroom has everything you need. Best of all, it’s spotless. I’ll be back 😊😊😊
