Apartamenty Potulicka Centrum

I haven’t stayed there, but Google keeps asking me for a review. From the photos and other reviews, it looks nice. I live in the neighboring building, though, and can say the complex is guarded, safe, clean, and quiet unless there’s a football match going on ))). There’s plenty of parking and excellent transport connections, and the train station is within walking distance. The neighbors are friendly and wave from their balconies. Come visit ;)

We stayed for a week, and halfway through a friendly lady came by to change the towels, top up the toiletries, and refill the mineral water. The reception was very responsive when we had questions. We also liked the large, gated parking lot. Even with lots of cars in the estate, we found a spot every day. There’s a large Żabka supermarket and a cold cuts shop by the gate, with a pharmacy across the entrance. The apartment met our expectations and was very clean, with plenty of room for two and our luggage. It’s about 200 meters from a tram terminus with two lines, and works well for getting around by car or public transport. There’s a double bed and a wide sofa that can sleep two; the bed is quite soft, while the sofa is relatively firm, so you can pick what suits you. The wardrobe could use more than four hangers. There’s a balcony where two people can eat, and the east-facing windows make it easier to get going early on hot days.

The only good thing was how quiet it was, which made it possible to really relax. Otherwise, the place was dirty: half the lights had burnt-out bulbs, the curtains were a mess and probably hadn’t been washed, and the front door handle was in bad shape. The door code expired before the reservation did, so I was stuck waiting in the stairwell for nearly 30 minutes. The only person on the hotline who helped was the woman handling the entry code. Phone contact was efficient but useless, and their attempt to reach me by email after the reservation didn’t work. The induction cooktop didn’t work either. Two weeks later they sent a photo with a button marked and said, “It works, we checked,” as though this were some luxury and using a cooktop weren’t obvious. Maybe induction cooktops are new in Szczecin. Parking in the neighborhood was a struggle. The main thing is, book and pay, and the rest gets ignored. Wonderful approach.

The apartment was functional, clean, and had everything we needed, in a fantastic spot in a very quiet neighborhood. I’d definitely recommend the breakfast option: it arrives at your door in the morning, and the portion is huge and delicious. Highly recommend!
