Hotel Bosak

We had such a great night and will be back very soon. The food was sublime, the service was stupendous, and the management was incredibly kind. Thank you so much for everything. We had a wonderful time.

I welcomed the New Year here, and it was beautiful, lively, and atmospheric. I do have two reservations: the music, and how some of the men were dressed, in sneakers, jeans, sweaters, or T-shirts. The staff deserve kudos, and I recommend the place. Since the staff changed, there’s been a clear improvement, especially with the cuisine. The dishes look lovely and have a modern touch. I’m really impressed. Szczecin has gained a great restaurant. 😊

Four of us went to Bosak restaurant in Szczecin expecting dinner, and wound up with a whole culinary adventure led by chef Czesław Mikołajczyk. The service was so warm it felt like visiting old friends, and live music completed the evening. Regional vineyard wine went with each course and brought out its flavors. There were around a dozen dishes, each with a little story from the chef and a focus on local, seasonal ingredients. The chanterelles brought the forest to mind. The local factory cheeses had real variety, from soft and creamy to mature and full-bodied, with each one reflecting where it came from. The beef was so tender it barely seemed to need a knife. Salmon cooked sous-vide was delicate, paired with grapefruit, sweet orange, and pomegranate. Broad beans and green beans were treated like proper parts of the meal, not just extras. It’s hard to capture that kind of experience in words. We all agree, if you want more than a meal and want a story told through the food, go to Bosak restaurant. Fair warning, it may raise your standards. Thanks for the unforgettable evening and hospitality. We’ll definitely return!

A huge disappointment. Our takeaway was all burnt, and the broth that cost 33 PLN amounted to two spoonfuls. The other dishes were tiny too. The prices don’t match the portions or, especially, the quality. This was our last order, and I strongly don’t recommend the place. It’s obvious to me the restaurant has been going downhill for a while. The website menu is outdated as well. Total amateur effort, with only the prices looking professional.
