We were told the two-bedroom units were all booked that day, and that my agent would need to discuss compensation and the loss with the hotel manager after the manager returned from vacation. We had booked one two-bedroom apartment and another with one bedroom, but when we arrived, the two-bedroom had been changed to a one-bedroom without any advance notice. Even the receptionist handing over the key didn't know about the change; we only discovered it after entering the room ourselves. We were traveling with elderly people who were exhausted after a day trip, so we had no real choice but to accept it. At the same price, we could have booked two rooms at a nearby four-star hotel if we'd known sooner. We stayed in summer, and the facilities and location really were impressive, which made this especially disappointing.

The people hanging from balconies and smoking drugs made the area unpleasant to look at. You can't just arrive, park, and walk in: the listing doesn't mention that parking is in a multi-storey car park a long walk away, which is impossible if you're carrying luggage.

I've stayed in plenty of places over eight years of business travel, and this room really stood out. The price and location were great, and we were pleasantly surprised by the room itself. It was amazing.

The staff are so friendly, and the rooms are clean. Whenever we ask about availability, we get a quick reply. My partner and I feel at home here, so this has become our regular place and we'll definitely return. I'd recommend it for a short visit or a couples' getaway to spend some quality time together.
