We stayed two nights and got good value for the money. The rooms are clean and modern, and the location by the lake is nice, though the rest of the hotel seems past its prime. Staff were invisible most of the time. The hotel also hosts events such as weddings. On our first night, loud music went on until 5am 😡. Breakfast was very basic.

There’s plenty to do on and around the lake, and the hotel isn’t too far from town. It’s a beautiful place for a relaxing stay. But there’s no air conditioning, and in temperatures above 30 degrees it made the stay really sticky. The adjacent restaurant Jolka serves delicious food, though it’s a little pricey, and the service is unbelievably slow. Good for a short stay.

This is a new hotel, but its glass walls make the bathroom transparent, so make sure you’re staying with someone who won’t mind. I’d requested a lake-view room months before my trip, but none was available when I arrived. They only have two rooms with a lake view.

The breakfast wasn’t great, but we liked the hotel overall. It has a good location, nice views, and free parking. There’s a good Irish pub just across from it.
