Belvedere Orzeł Biały

Excellent.

The setting is stunning, and the location is pretty good, near the main road. There are good restaurants nearby, like Mamma Mia, which has a nice atmosphere and friendly service. The hotel is budget-friendly, but the room feels old-fashioned and has several basic things missing. There’s no kettle, lamp, or bedside table, and usually only two or three power outlets in a room, though that varies. At night it gets incredibly hot under the duvets, though the pillows are okay. The beds are soft and bearable, but I wouldn’t want to stay in them for more than three or four days. The toilet paper is old, gray paper and not very nice. The toilet also clogs, and you have to wait around 5-10 minutes for it to clear. So you could call the hotel average, but that’s why.

There wasn’t even a bedside table, and the bedding felt heavy as rocks. The towel was child-sized and not very clean. We only slept there for half the night after a wedding, so it was bearable, but I wouldn’t pay for anything worse. How does this place have three stars? I can’t believe it.

Luckily, our room lock was broken, so the owner quickly found us somewhere else to stay, in another guesthouse across the main road. The location and ample parking were other positives. Still, the ground-floor room advertised for four people was nothing like the online photos. There was no wardrobe or bedside table, and just ONE electrical outlet for the whole room, apart from one in the bathroom. The bathroom had gray toilet paper, and the towels listed on Booking.com were tiny hand towels. It felt like four beds had been squeezed into the room without the furniture it needed. I’m surprised anyone would accommodate guests in these conditions for such a high price.
