I’m satisfied with the place. It’s very clean and nicely decorated, with thoughtful touches like a charging station for electric bikes and dog bars. The open space and great view make the location feel ideal, right in the middle of the mountain. The food was fresh and about average, though it wasn’t especially good or tasty. That’s enough for tourists, I suppose. A loaf of bread is better than the song of man birds :) I guess the owner works hard to keep the place going.

After a long day hiking down from a mountain trail, we stopped here and had really tasty kotlet schabowy and garlic soup. The tavern is easy to get to, about a 30-minute walk from town. The staff were very friendly, and there’s plenty of space for larger groups.

Chata Wuja Toma is a nice starting point for longer treks, and getting there from Szczyrk center is an easy walk. There’s a great outdoor seating area with a nice view, plus traditional food and craft beer.

Definitely worth the hike. It’s a dog-friendly spot where you can relax with mulled wine or a good beer and try local kawsnica topped with warm oscypki cheese :)
