Private parking is a big plus, and the host, who lives there, is nice. Everything was clean and fresh, so the accommodation is better than average overall. But the wooden walls between several rooms mean noise from neighboring guests carries and can disturb others. The kitchen is shared, and the host likes to have the TV on very loud :)

Luckily I brought my own pillow, blanket, towels, and a few dishes. The whole apartment seemed uncleaned, and both the glasses and room were filthy. There was no cleaning at all, the sheets and towels smelled terribly musty, and the laundry hadn’t dried properly. Gaps around the room doors meant you could hear everything, including the TV and other guests. The kitchen is only a kitchenette. The photos make it all look okay, but in reality it was a disaster: dirty, uncomfortable, bad smelling, and with no privacy. I don’t recommend it.

Villa Eva has the homely feel you’d want, and the host is very kind. It’s close to the center of Szczyrk, with a kitchen for cooking and parking beside the building. I definitely recommend it.

For a short person like me, getting into the kitchen meant bending down quite a bit, and the kitchen itself is beyond description. The floors creaked and the beds squeaked. It looks okay in photos, but in person the room is utter rubbish, deluxe in name only. Plus, it’s so clean, and the bathroom is great.
