Apartamenty Bos

The place has a lot of potential, but it needs different management and furnishings. The beds were falling apart and so uncomfortable that we woke up with back pain on the first night. It was a disaster, especially when you’re hoping to ski after a sleepless night. The apartment was filthy too: the toilet and kitchen counter felt like they’d been wiped with the same rag. The sheets were stained, there was mold on the ceiling and cobwebs, and the furniture was falling apart. For over 100 złoty per person each night, I expect a decent night’s sleep and a clean bathroom. Instead, the shower barely dripped lukewarm water. A disaster.

The mountain views were fantastic, especially at sunrise, and the apartment was warm, spacious, and well equipped. There’s a heated garage parking space, storage inside for gear, a comfortable bedroom bed, and bunk beds the kids enjoyed. The building was peaceful, and it’s close to the center in a quiet neighborhood. I’d recommend the place overall. In winter, bring snow chains or a 4x4. We arrived during snowfall and had trouble getting up the driveway, though chains got us through. The caretaker clears and sands the area in front of the building. The sauna is available for an extra fee, paid through a coin machine. A few things could be better: some lamps had no bulbs, there was lots of dust under the beds, and one bunk bed had no safety rail, which could be an issue for a small child. We stayed in February 2019.

There’s lots of room in the apartment and it’s well equipped. The views and location are great, and it had everything we expected. I recommend it.

The apartment has a terrace with a mountain view. It’s a great place, and the owner was really friendly.
