Przystań Nad Potokiem

The hosts were kind and quick to respond to guests’ requests, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean, which matters a lot. But breakfast was the real highlight: delicious, cleanly prepared, and plentiful, with guests made to feel pampered. I’ve never had better fish than the smoked or fried trout here. If you want clean linens and a tasty breakfast while staying in the mountains, then time to enjoy Szklarska Poreba and the surrounding area, give this place a visit.

I come back to this nice guesthouse every year, and each time the modestly furnished hotel has improved. The breakfast is still up there with a five-star hotel, though. Even the fanciest hotels would be proud of a buffet this generous, with smoked fish, pastas, salads, and a huge range of cold cuts, all presented beautifully.

We were shocked by the extra 12 PLN charge for takeout packaging: three small plastic salad tubs, four paper plates, and some aluminum foil. The owner even asked on the phone whether we needed a receipt. We understand charging a nominal amount for containers, but this felt unreasonable. The meals were also very expensive for the quality. Sadly, I can't recommend it.

The smoked trout is the best, and the smoked cheeses were delicious too. Everything tasted fresh. The owner was kind and really friendly. I recommend it!!!
