The food was awful too. The scrambled eggs were watery and overly salty, and the coffee had such a strange texture that it was completely undrinkable. The rooms were dirty and full of bugs, the products were the lowest quality, and the bathroom couldn’t be used at all. The beds had rough mattresses and bedding without even a zipper. The only decent thing was the service, though even that feels like saying too much. One star is more than this place deserves.

After I arrived and saw the condition of the place, I cancelled my room booking. It was dirty and untidy, with building materials scattered around, and the whole property looked like it was constantly being renovated. The room they showed me was a gloomy little cubicle with barely enough space for a bed and chair. Don’t waste your time here.

The interior really is impressive and beautiful, but everything else was a letdown. The food was tasteless, almost inedible, and nowhere near worth the price. The owner seemed unfriendly, which made the atmosphere worse. I wouldn’t recommend eating here when there are better places where you can enjoy a meal and feel welcome.

There was only one waitress for 39 people, and the fruit was not very fresh, with grapes that were visibly moldy. The hot meal was just three Silesian dumplings each, more like a child’s portion. A man from another party came into our room, ordered a beer, then sat down at a table and drank as if it were normal. Earlier, there were no seats, even though I’d told the owner the number of guests by phone and text. The promised photo booth and white chair cover were missing too. There was about an hour between putting out the cake and serving the cold plate. When I asked the waitress about it, she said, “It’s coming.” The party was a disaster from the start. It was meant to be a lovely occasion, but it turned out this way, and it was our first and last party here. The owner seems to care only that the money is right. If you want to avoid stress and wasting money, I strongly advise against having a party at this castle.
