Pokoje Noclegi Orzech

We stayed at Pokoje Noclegi Orzech for a long weekend, and the shared garden was a lovely place to unwind in the evenings. Bringing our dogs along was easy, which made the stay even better. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with thoughtful details throughout. Marika, who manages the place, was warm and quick to respond. She clearly wants guests to feel welcome, and everything went smoothly from beginning to end. It’s the kind of place that stays in your memory because it feels so easy and welcoming. We’d definitely return.

I found the room clean and well cared for, and I’d recommend it :D Just a couple of drawbacks: the walls are thin enough that you can clearly hear someone showering in another room, and you have to be careful because the switch between cold and hot water is really fine. One warning too: for the first time, I had someone take my things from the refrigerator. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but it’s worth knowing.

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything needed. Most of all, the hosts were incredibly kind during the demanding Wisła 1200 Ultramarathon. We arrived in Tczew after 11 PM, despite having booked by phone for 9 PM, because of complications on the way. The host waited for us, and didn’t try to take advantage of the situation. We were smelly and sweaty, with dirty bikes, and they still welcomed us to Cito. There was no advance payment or confirmation needed when we booked. Thank you. If I visit Tczew again, I’ll definitely stay at the Walnut. The service deserves 11/10.

The rooms are warm and the water is hot, but there were several problems. The parking area is very cramped, and you have to cross the courtyard to get to the kitchen. It was cold in there, and it smelled of old mops left near the entrance. We’d booked one large bed, but were given twin beds, and nobody told us at booking that they would be singles. The owner was very unfriendly.
