Tleniowo

The big garden gives everyone room to themselves, even with guests in the other rooms and cottage. We stayed for the weekend, booked through Booking.com, and everything was great. The owners were incredibly kind and the atmosphere felt like family. Tleniów is a lovely place, and I don’t understand the reviews saying it’s closed. Friends who stayed over the May long weekend recommended it to us. I suspect those closure reviews came from competitors. We’ll definitely be back. :)

There’s a kitchen for making your own meals, and both our room and the whole cottage were super clean. Tleniowo sits on beautiful, well-kept grounds where you can relax. The hostess is wonderful and makes you feel at home. It’s a great area for cycling or hiking. I’ll definitely come back to Tleniowo next time I visit Tuchola Forest. A really nice place, and thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location is handy: shops and the Wda River are each a 5-minute walk away, and the forest lake is 10 minutes on foot. There are lots of nearby attractions for anyone who enjoys nature, as well as some very decent, civilized restaurants. They’re not really for vegans, though vegetarians will have plenty of options. It’s a pleasant old house with a large grounds, gazebos, a fire pit, barbecue, and playground. There’s a shared kitchen, and the four rooms share three bathrooms, which wasn’t a problem. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the hostess was very kind. A great place for a few days or longer. I recommend it.

I stay here quite often for business trips and have never run into a problem or an unpleasant situation, so some of the negative reviews surprise me. I think they’re untrue and written by envious competitors. The hostess is honest, extremely friendly, and quick to respond to guests’ needs. It’s spotlessly clean, which I especially appreciate. The resort also has plenty of amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen, loungers, bicycles, hammocks, and parking. The location is great, 15 minutes from the lake and 10 minutes from the town center. An absolutely fantastic place. I wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to my next visit :)
