Gosciniec Silver

I can't understand the good reviews. The one upside is that staying here is preferable to spending the night outside in the forest. If you want to feel like you've gone back to the ’90s, this is the place. The room had a strong musty, old smell, a squeaky door, plastic plants, and dusty surfaces. The walls were so thin that every step and conversation in the hallway came through, and it was especially loud at night. There’s no public transport nearby, so you have to rely on taxis. I might have been less frustrated if I'd paid around 15€ for the night. That's the most this hotel should cost, in my view, not 60€. Even putting the price aside, it was the worst place I've ever stayed. Never again.

The rooms smell awful, especially of cigarettes, and it’s hard to put into words how bad they are. How did this “hotel” end up with 3 stars? It feels like a joke that isn't funny.

I'd gladly stay here again next time I'm in Torun. It's a very friendly place.

1A. I'd happily come back.
