Hotel i Camping Tramp

We ended up staying here in our 6m camper van after a van was broken into at the City's wild camp spot while we were parked there. There are flat areas to park, electricity, free water, and a place to empty black waste. The facilities were great, with a hot shower included and clean, stocked toilets. WiFi worked around reception, and the female receptionist was excellent, helpful, and spoke English. It's an open layout, so you can use any free space. Park between reception and the bridge, beside the small side road, or the motorbikes, trains, and other noise will be a lot.

We paid 300 PLN for one night for both campers, and we don't think it was worth it. The campsite wasn't well kept, with unmown grass that wasn't nice for the four young kids, two of them under 4, to play on. The street lights were off after dark, and the road beside the camp was really loud. The showers had hair everywhere, and because the water drained slowly and pooled on the floor, the hair and dirt washed up onto my legs. The water stream was good and we did have hot water.

The friendly admin and restaurant staff, with their reasonable prices, couldn't make up for the rest. This camper facility is overcrowded and badly located. There was no hot water, and the showers got even dirtier in the evening. We found a nice shady spot under the trees, but a brainless, toothless redneck group nearby set up a 1500-watt boom box and blasted music, refusing to turn it down when we asked politely. We had to move to a much less suitable spot. The city's booming disco music died down around 10PM, then the fast and the furious on the nearby 4-lane bridge and the thunder of mile-long freight trains took over. Staying here was a mistake.

We found space even though the place was full, so late arrivals may still have a spot. It's a handy stopover for visiting the city, which is within walking distance, and the price felt fair for the service and experience. The bathrooms are relatively modern but could be cleaner. There was no warm water in the evening, and some areas get loud at night, especially near the major road.
