A cute, old-fashioned room in an old apartment building in the Old Town.

Weekend nights can get loud from outside, and it may be hard to sleep well. Still, the location is ideal for exploring Toruń, and the rooms are large with comfortable beds. There’s Wi-Fi and a shared kitchen with a refrigerator. No air conditioning, but there is a fan, though it’s quite noisy. The small wardrobe was a little annoying, but only a minor thing. Good value for money, and I recommend it.

Dogs are allowed, which I really appreciated. The place is right in the center, near the Vistula River promenade, and the rooms are nice and spacious. The kitchen has plenty of equipment. The problem is the lack of soundproofing between rooms. If partygoers show up, it can be impossible to sleep at night.

The thin door lets in a lot of noise. I could hear other tenants, the next room being cleaned, and outside the window there were sounds from the scaffolding and roof, along with a swarm of pigeons. Room 1 does have a lot going for it: the location is its biggest advantage, and the decor is nice. The kitchen has what you need for cooking and eating at the large table. The bathroom is clean and comfortable, with a shower.
