On our Friday Day SPA Special, we had the spa almost to ourselves until around 4pm. The building and grounds are really lovely, and the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and hot sauna were great. I’m guessing the sauna was about 80C, though there wasn’t a temperature listed. The massage and facial were good quality too. Lunch was awful, and we couldn’t even pick what we wanted. There aren’t many sauna options, and the service was a mixed bag.

In 2025 we came back after a few years away, but it didn’t impress us as much this time. The spa and massages were awesome, though the half-board food choices were limited and worse than at other places of this kind. That’s why I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 4, otherwise it would have been closer to 3.5. Back in 2019, we’d enjoyed spacious rooms, a well-equipped spa, delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. It’s a good place to get away from the daily routine and relax.

The food was my biggest letdown. Breakfast dishes were left uncovered, with flies on the food. When I raised it with a waiter, he said, “it is what it is.” An administrator seemed concerned and said she’d handle it, but the same thing was happening the next morning. The restaurant prices seemed aimed at Warsaw diners, but the food wasn’t special enough to justify them. They even served a pork chop that was plainly burnt. The property also felt dirty and poorly cared for. My room had cobwebs in the corners, stained curtains and a dusty windowsill. Around the spa there was mold, peeling doors and furniture, and loose tiles. The rating and online photos didn’t match what I found. I’d trusted the high rating and skipped the negative reviews, which was a mistake. I could only stay two of the three nights I’d booked, and luckily hadn’t booked an expensive weekend. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

My Mother and I had such a good time here last year. The massages and food were great, the pool was beautiful, and the views were lovely. The pampering was outstanding, and it’s definitely worth coming for 2-3 nights to unwind.

The massages were relaxing, even for a first-time spa guest like me, and the pool, saunas and steam rooms were excellent. I’d give the stay 7.5/10, or 4 out of 5, partly because I’m giving the spa the benefit of the doubt over the jacuzzi. It was out of order throughout our visit, despite the resort calling ahead to say it wouldn’t work on at least the first day and then telling us each day it would be fixed. I think there was a tropical room too, but we didn’t try it. We came to Talaria Spa and Resort with my girlfriend and her family after a heavy weekend at a polish wedding, and a three-night spa stay sounded ideal. For someone like me who isn’t from Poland, it’s about a 1.25 hour drive from central Warsaw. The countryside on the way was beautiful, and you can stroll around the open grounds, which fit the setting well. A couple of things, especially the Perla sponsored parasols and the children’s multicoloured outdoor playset, spoiled the look a bit. Our room was in the dog friendly section, in an extension of the main building. It was lovely, spacious and warm. Nearby, though, a farmer had donkeys and horses, and a loud siren went off a couple of times during our stay, so getting a good night’s sleep could depend on your room. The food was generally good. Breakfast was buffet-style, with cold meats, great polish bread, different cheeses and honey that I think came from beehives near the spa. The restaurant served food and alcohol a la carte during the day and evening, and the chicken dishes were excellent for the first couple of days. The steak tenderloin, the most expensive item at about £19, was the big disappointment. It arrived 15 minutes after everyone else at the table had finished, even though we ordered together. The meat was rubbery and lukewarm. When I asked why it had taken so long, the waitress just said “kitchen.” I’m no massage expert, but the sessions were relaxing. Communication was harder: the masseurs didn’t speak much English, so it wasn’t always clear what they wanted to do. In the first session, the woman kept asking “okay?” and I had to guess what she meant. The woman in my second session used Google Translate, which helped, though the robotic voice took away from the atmosphere a little. Other staff spoke better English, enough to get by, which was fine by me.
