I had a confusing experience. The owner, whom I happened to meet, was very nice, and the hotel staff were generally good, especially the restaurant service, which impressed me. But the reception desk was very unprofessional and didn’t speak English fluently. Check-in and check-out took a long time, and talking with them felt like dealing with an AI robot. They didn’t seem to understand hotel hospitality and weren’t cooperative. The manager at reception was even worse than the staff. The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere and very hard to find at night, and you still have to pay for parking. I’m not sure about Polish tourists, but I don’t think this hotel suits foreign travelers.

The castle’s rooms fit its decor perfectly, and it’s very dog-friendly. We had wine near a river and a cave, and played pool at the top of the castle. Stunning! The interiors are magnificent, the activities were unusual and fun, and the staff made the stay feel special. Half board is worth the money, though the vegetarian choices aren’t great. I really recommend it.

I had a lovely few days enjoying the sunshine in the garden. It’s a picturesque, quiet place to relax, especially if food and service aren’t your main focus. The castle itself is stunning, and the facilities are nice, but service was average and the rooms aren’t cheap. The reception was disappointing, communication wasn’t great, and the staff didn’t seem well trained, which feels like a waste for such a special hotel. Since it’s a castle, it’s remote and far from any big city. Check the room type when booking, too. Some rooms used to be servant quarters and aren’t as comfortable as the others.

The spa was great, and Lester gave me a fantastic signature massage. The castle grounds are lovely, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were pretty good. The mansion tour is stunning and well worth doing if you have time. I visited with family and we had a small twin room with squeaky beds. I’d have preferred to come with a partner, since the castle is perfect for a romantic getaway and a bit tame for a family visit. We also had to pay an extra parking fee despite staying two nights. Still, a lovely stay.
