Hotel Trzebnica

We’ll definitely book here again when we’re back in Trzebnica. The desk staff were welcoming and polite, and their English was very good. Breakfast was hearty, and they had gluten-free bread for my daughter and me. Our room was comfortable and very clean, with fresh towels and a bottle each of sparkling and still water every day.

We really liked the hotel restaurant: the food was very good and the staff there were friendly. The hotel itself sits in a green setting in Trzebnica, and the staff were warm and accommodating, with excellent English. Our room was bright and clean, and room service brought fresh water each day, a particularly nice touch in summer.

The hotel looks good and is in a great spot, and the waitresses were fine. But I’m reviewing only the restaurant, and the food needs to improve. The iced coffee wasn’t cold, and the “cheese platter” had just two cheeses: camembert and what looked like sliced cheese from the breakfast buffet. The carpaccio was OK, though I’d have preferred arugula instead of regular lettuce.

The staff were kind and helpful, but service at the restaurant and elsewhere was far from good. Meat dishes seemed like a safe choice, while the salad and pasta left me disappointed. Espresso and most of the dishes are overpriced, with espresso costing 10 PLN. The spa could use better upkeep too, and there was no water by the sauna showers. The hotel looks nice at first and is clean and well maintained.
