This is definitely more of a business hotel than a holiday spot, but it works well for a trip to Tychy. I’m here for my second stay and can’t complain. The town center location helps, and there are plenty of restaurants within a five-minute walk, which is a big plus when you’re staying for weeks. The staff speak enough English and are helpful, and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard. The gym is basic, a bit rough around the edges, but fine for getting a workout in. Food is really cheap too. The steak in the photos was about 15 gbp and pretty decent. I’d also highly recommend the blueberry club nearby for its huge rack of amazing ribs. I’ve stayed in much worse places in Poland, and this one has plenty going for it.

The location is nice and the restaurant is very good. The receptionists are kind and helpful, but the pillows are extremely flat. The fridge in the room was empty and dirty, with mold inside.

The room was clean and fine, and I liked being able to switch off the fans for cooling or heating. Breakfast was okay, though the included hot drinks were quite limited to coffee and tea.

There are three restaurants at the hotel, Chinese, Japanese, and Mediterranean, so you can eat without going far. There are also other places to eat in Tychy if you want a change. Our room was clean and reception staff were friendly. Krakow is quite a distance away, about an hour by taxi, but the hotel’s taxis seemed trustworthy. Tyskie beer is popular here, which makes sense since Tychy is where it comes from. The brewery is a 10 minute taxi ride or a 30 min walk away. I’d recommend staying here if you’d rather not pay Krakow prices.

The restaurants nearby make this a good place to stay, and the hotel itself has good restaurants too. Bars around the hotel can get noisy sometimes, though. I wish the soundproofing were better.
