Piramida Park Hotel & Wellness

The lake is right behind the hotel, with playgrounds, cafes, and bars nearby. The location is great, and there's a good restaurant in the hotel as well as a very good breakfast. The service was good, and parking on the property felt safe. The room's air conditioner actually cools, instead of working only as a fan, which is rare. Access to the gym and swimming pool was included in the room price.

Breakfast was surprisingly good, but we still can't recommend this hotel. The building is old, and the room windows don't open. The huge pyramid shape is strange for this location, though that's beside the point. The rooftop was under construction, and that hadn't been mentioned on booking.com. The spa is basically a tiny pool and a sauna, with the sauna costing extra. We had to book it more than an hour ahead. At our reserved time the door was open, but the oven was only lukewarm; it didn't heat up during the next hour. The sauna light was broken, leaving it very dark, and there were no cold showers afterward. When we raised this with the receptionist, he was rude and didn't seem to care.

The breakfasts were good, and they kept replenishing the ingredients. My room was fairly well equipped, though I couldn't open the window because of the building's design. At the entrance there's a water pond, with entrances to the restaurant and wellness around it, and the reception and hotel on the other side. This place is really good and stands above the Polish standard, with a very high overall level.

The hotel feels quite dated, but I still enjoy staying here. Breakfast is good, and the swimming pool is good too. There’s a gym, though it’s small and doesn’t have much equipment.
