Gościniec "Nad Wartą"

The big parking lot in front and behind the hotel is handy, and prices are affordable. The restaurant serves until 21:30, while the bar stays open all night. Breakfast is very good. Rooms have comfortable beds, a kettle, coffee and tea, and enough electrical sockets. The hotel has an older and a newer section. I'd pick the new part, ideally a room overlooking the fields, where you can sit out on the balcony in summer. I used to stay mostly in central Uniejów hotels, but now I choose Gościniec nad Warta for its better price and high standard. The friendly service is a real plus.

It was easy to find, just a few minutes off the Warsaw to Poznan motorway, and only a short drive from an excellent Thermal Park with indoor and outdoor heated pools. I was there on a business trip in November 2018 and enjoyed my stay. The hotel felt like a typical Polish country hotel, very clean and simply decorated, with a nice bedroom and bathroom. The reception staff spoke English, which helped with my basic Polish. The food was excellent, with plenty of traditional Polish dishes.

Breakfast was very good, and the SPA has a jacuzzi and sauna. I stayed in the hotel's newer section, where the rooms were clean and functional. Check whether your room actually has AC, since the description says it does but ours didn't. Parking can get crowded, so check availability too.

The rooms were big and cozy, with really soft beds, and the quiet corner was great. I was a little disappointed with the car parking, though it didn't matter much. I appreciated staying here.
