Zajazd Dajana

It was okay.

The receptionists were really nice and always available when something came up, which was a big plus. Overall, our stay went well. The old wardrobes could do with an update, though, since the wooden boards make them feel dated. It would also help to have a cupboard above the fridge, so the kettle didn’t need to sit on top of it.

I often go to the seaside, and Zajazd Dajana is an interesting place to stay. Its biggest advantage is definitely how close it is to the sea, which makes up for some of the area's drawbacks. The seaside is about relaxing, enjoying the breeze and taking in the atmosphere, and you get that here. I’d recommend it at almost any time of year, though summer is best.

I stayed in room no. 9, a single room with a balcony, and found the price very competitive for a place right on the promenade. It had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, bathroom with soap and towels, fridge, electric kettle and TV. For a two-star hotel, it was all OK. The shower tray is very high, so a step in the bathroom might be useful. The location is the biggest plus. Dajana Inn is right by the beach and a lovely park, with a public transport stop nearby and the closest grocery store about 500 meters away. The "Fala" restaurant is in the next building, and the well-known "Klusek" bar is around 100 meters away. I’m sharing this from the perspective of someone who has difficulty walking. "Dajan" has no elevator, but the kind receptionist offered to carry my suitcase to the first floor, which I really appreciated. I managed the 18 stairs each day, and the nearest beach access has no steps, unlike many other routes in Ustka.
