Bastówka Apartamenty

The owners were very nice, and the building has a recreation room with games for children, which was a plus. Still, we won't stay here again. We've never slept so badly anywhere, if you can even call it sleeping. We were four adults and two children, and although the apartment was supposed to sleep six, it really wasn't suitable for six people. The place was relatively cheap, and we weren't expecting luxury, but what we found surprised us. There were two bedrooms for two people each, while the third “bedroom” turned out to be the kitchen. It had a small fold-out sofa bed, but the kitchen was so small that it was hard to open it. One bedroom had a large double bed with a mattress, the only bed in the apartment that was suitable for sleeping. The sofa bed in the other bedroom was impossible to sleep on, and you could feel the floorboards. I recommend the owners try sleeping on it for at least one night. The kitchen sofa bed was also terribly uncomfortable and no good for sleeping. There was a short circuit throughout the apartment, and the lights kept turning on by themselves. The shower kept losing water pressure, so it was hard to bathe. The refrigerator didn't work properly and smelled so bad we didn't even want to open it. The tableware was clearly worn. With all due respect to the kind owners, I can't give this stay more than one star.

The two balconies were a nice surprise, and made lovely spots for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. We had a spacious, clean apartment with a well-equipped kitchenette for everyday cooking. Great location and comfortable conditions. I definitely recommend it!

We stayed at the "Bastówka" Apartments at the end of May and beginning of June 2024, in the quiet Ustroń-Poniwiec district. Apartment No. 2 sleeps six, with a bedroom, a room with a kitchenette, another room, and separate toilet and shower. The rooms were clean and very spacious. There was parking in front, little traffic, and a peaceful neighborhood. The owner was friendly and easy to contact. Czantoria Mountain, Równica River, Ustroń, and Wisła are nearby, even within walking distance. The apartment also has a dishwasher, microwave, two balconies, tables in every room, and two TVs. We could use the garden and basement recreation area with billiards, air hockey, and XBOX. The bathroom door lock occasionally gave us trouble, and the door squeaked, but those were minor issues. If you want affordable accommodation near attractions in a quiet area, Bastówka is a good option, and I highly recommend it. PS. You can also rent apartments or a cottage in the center of Ustroń.

We had a wonderful four-day stay and will definitely come back. The rooms were clean and large, with two balconies, and the kitchen had all the basic utensils we needed. Everything was within walking distance, and we had nothing to complain about. Highly recommend it.
