Montebello Bussines Spa

It was quiet and peaceful, and the receptionist was friendly. Parking was ample, the room had a beautiful view, and the price included the pool, saunas, and jacuzzi. The bedding and towels were nice too. The hotel is a bit out of the way, though the location works well for skiers since it’s close to the Czantoria slopes. It seems split between a more modern section and another where the rooms feel stuck in the 1990s. We booked two rooms for our family but ended up in separate sections of the large building. A lot needs updating, the beds are quite hard, and breakfast was basic. Billiards and table tennis cost extra. We won’t be coming back.

The room was warm, breakfast was good, and the location is convenient for the slopes. But there was a cigarette smell and an issue with the toilet. When we reported it, we were offered another room for an extra charge. The whole place could use a refresh, and chewing gum under the table made it seem like the rooms aren’t cleaned very thoroughly. It was an okay stay, but I won’t return.

Breakfast was modest but tasty. The nicest part was the blonde woman, who was lovely and seemed to be doing three jobs, at the bar, tending the fireplace, and working reception. She earns the extra star. The bald man was mean, rude, and provocative, and the woman with shoulder-length black hair was rude too. There was a beard in our room. The pool and spa entrance goes through a glass lobby, which gets very cold when it’s freezing outside, and the corridors weren’t warm either. Other guests said some rooms were cold as well. The response they got was, “It’s 20 degrees, please don’t exaggerate.” I don’t recommend this place.
