Alka Sun Resort

The beach is gorgeous, and the surrounding area is green and clean. The family who run the place are very friendly.

We were very unhappy with the stay and left early. On our first evening, we had booked dinner for two for PLN 160, but nobody had told us it would be a country dinner without cold cuts, cheese, or coffee. Everything was cold: bigos/strange sausage, sausage fried with onions, black pudding, potatoes in their skins and breading. When we raised concerns, staff didn’t respond and only laughed ironically. We also emailed the manager and got no reply. At the last minute, our room was changed to a tiny one that smelled foul, and its narrow doorway made it hard to get luggage through.

The Easter meals were very good in both quality and quantity, and the decorated dining room had assigned seats for everyone. Even with certainly over 180 guests, staff went above and beyond to make everything work well. The center director’s Sunday breakfast wishes were a nice touch. From Saturday to Monday, KO put on an interesting program: basket making and blessing, a tasting of Alka's specialty, an accordion concert, disco, bonfire, and vocal concert. I rated my five-day Easter stay highly. The common areas were clean, the decor was top-notch, and the service especially stood out. A small check-in issue was resolved quickly. My warm two-room apartment had a balcony, fridge, kettle, glasses, and a bathroom hairdryer. The active treatment center was a big plus, and the therapist was excellent, so I recommend the massages. Dogs are welcome, and the per-night charge for one was acceptable. If I stay in Ustronie Morskie again, I’ll definitely return to Alki Sun.
