Hotel Lambert Medical Spa

The location was the best thing about the hotel. The room was nice, though the bathroom door wouldn't slide shut properly and the tissue dispenser wasn't fixed securely to the wall. Parking was poor, and the staff were a mixed bag. Also, Ustronie Morskie is extremely popular in Poland during summer, so it's not the place for a relaxed, chill atmosphere then. That's more about the town than the hotel, but worth keeping in mind.

The rooftop terrace has a fantastic view across the city and beautiful sea, and the service was friendly. Sunbeds and beach towels are free. The pool is very small. Food was okay, but wasn't replenished promptly. The restaurant and pub inside and outside the hotel can get loud, with people enjoying themselves until early morning. At times, food smells from the restaurant reached our first-floor room.

The good points were the sea nearby, the view of it from our Superior room, and tasty breakfasts. Still, for such a high price I expected more. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted and made the room too cold. There was no kettle, tea or coffee, and the toiletries were dramatically poor for a four-star hotel. The TV was too small for the distance from the bed, and the hard, uncomfortable headrests made watching from bed impossible, with no other option provided. WiFi barely worked and was very slow. Our Superior room had two beds pushed together under one sheet instead of one bed, and the floor coverings were dirty. A Saturday disco thumped through the whole hotel until 3 a.m., so resting or sleeping was impossible. The minibar was far too expensive. There were no extra towels for the pool or sauna, and construction was going on outside the window. The salt cave cost extra. Breakfast coffee was instant and bad; proper machine coffee had to be paid for. There was no greenery around the hotel, only roads or parking, and parking itself was an extra charge on top of the stay.

Impressive food and outstanding desserts, served by kind, professional staff. The restaurant is high quality, and its prices feel fair for what you get. I truly recommend it.
