The cod with leek was mega, and the żurek tasted just like home. The owner is friendly and kind, though the waiter looked as if he was being made to work as punishment. This restaurant is okay, with good and bad days. The tripe was very good but came with rather little bread. Fish soup was fine but nothing special, a bit brothy. Nord West salmon was delicious, though the portion was small. The pork chop and fries were a big serving but underseasoned. One time the cod was dry, with an aftertaste that seemed unnatural. The Hungarian pancake was good, but there was too much sauce for the amount of pancake. That's just my opinion, try it and decide for yourself.

I can recommend the food, it's very good. I haven't stayed at the guesthouse, so I can't really rate it. The poor rating is about the service and customer care. The woman with glasses, who I assume is the owner, wasn't very friendly. Also, children eating at the restaurant aren't allowed to use the guesthouse playground. I don't understand the issue. I'd rather see kids playing outside than in the restaurant, where they could bother other customers. The food itself is just good.

The location is a real plus, with the beach close by, and the dinners are especially tasty. The fish is always fresh. The rooms are clean, though a little dated. I highly recommend it.

A lovely guesthouse. The one thing I'd change is the balconies at Kubryk, which aren't separated enough to give guests much privacy.
