We chose Hotel Pietrak in Wągrowiec for a special occasion, and the staff put a lot of care into making the day or evening feel special. They’re dedicated, kind, and ready to help with anything. The food was excellent, with plenty of options ranging from traditional to modern, and the rooms are comfortable and up to a high standard. It’s a good idea to ask where your room is, since there’s currently construction on one side of the hotel, though it shouldn’t last long. I stayed there over the weekend, and once again, the professional, friendly team didn’t disappoint. Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality. Best wishes, BJ.

My fiancée and I booked a royal suite at this hotel in Gniezno, but there was no water all night. The service was really poor, and I can’t recommend it. A waste of money on a lousy stay, and as a reward they gave us a dried-up donut.

The location is really nice, which makes it such a shame that I won’t be going back. I went with my family for a late Sunday lunch and left very disappointed. The food was bad and the service appalling. I’m vegetarian, and before ordering the Asian-style dumplings I specifically asked the waitress whether they were vegetarian. She said yes, but they had meat inside. I’d eaten some before I realized I’d been misled, and it upset my stomach badly. There was no apology, and the dish wasn’t removed from the bill at first. When I pointed it out, the waitress looked angry, but eventually took it off.

The lake view and location were amazing, and the staff were friendly. We spent a weekend there with my family from the Netherlands, and everyone was happy with the hotel. The rooms were nice, with air conditioning and good beds. Thanks to the team.

Dinner and the menu were good, but what really stood out was the manager. She was kind, great, and helpful, sorting out our problems and resolving them quickly.
