Everything’s fine, except it feels awful to be in the shower and suddenly have no water left 😔

The neighborhood is very quiet, and the owner is pleasant and extremely polite. Still, while we were out she came into the room to bring towels, even though she could have left them on the dresser in the hallway with a note. The next day she closed our window, saying it was raining, but it wasn’t. A friend lives nearby. I’ve never had an owner enter my room while I was away before. We had also asked three times whether the bathroom was in the room and were told it was. When we arrived, we found it in the hallway. No one else was upstairs, so it was for our use alone, but that wasn’t the same for me. I was disappointed, and the way she walked around our room while we were gone really bothered me.

The price doesn’t match the standard, and the owner’s rudeness put me off straight away. She complained as soon as we arrived, apparently just looking for money. The listing didn’t say the only cooking option was a microwave, and there was no kitchen. In the bathroom, the door scraped against the floor, and everything was tempting. I’d choose a cheaper nearby place with a much better standard instead.

We’ve travelled together for 20 years and never had an experience like this. The owner demanded payment at the door immediately, without offering any confirmation. Breakfast cost 30 PLN per person, but the food was terrible: smelly gray scrambled eggs and a sausage with ketchup that was almost a year out of date and had a crossed-out barcode. Fortunately, we hadn’t brought lunch. There was only one portion of bread per person. The bedding was darned, and ours had broken fasteners so the filling came out. The place wasn’t clean, and although we paid for a room with a bathroom, ours was in the hallway. She also demanded an extra fee for the fireplace room, which she had assigned us by the hour because she thought we’d left it untidy. We’d put away our used dishes and left the tables and chairs in place. We’re adults and know how to behave. We can’t recommend this place to anyone, and neither will our friends. The owner’s focus on saving money makes us not want to visit.
