The host, Matylda, was warm, attentive, and helpful, and the location makes it easy to get around by public transport. Shops and restaurants are nearby, yet the place felt like a quiet break from the busy city. It's on Smolna Street, within walking distance of the National Museum, Polish Army Museum, and Palace of Culture and Science. 4th Floor Bed and Breakfast has a cozy, personal feel. There are several well-appointed rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi, plus tea and coffee makers. Guests can use the shared kitchen and lounge, and there's an elevator. It's pet-friendly, and bicycle rentals are available for exploring the city. The entrance can be a little hard to spot because the signage is minimal. Look for the sign, or text the hostess for help. It may be useful to contact the host ahead of time for directions if you're likely to get lost. The property is generally easy to access, though.
