The compact apartment had excellent views, and the hotel is centrally located, within a short walk of Warsaw train station and the cultural centre. Buses from there go to both airports. I took trains from Bydgoszcz to Gdansk, then on to Warsaw, Krakow, and Wroclaw, before flying back to the UK. The flight from the UK to Bydgoszcz’s modern airport, along with the hotels and trains, was all good value. The train and flight journeys were scenic, with vast open plains and forests along the way. I found Poland’s cities interesting, clean, orderly, and well maintained. Warsaw is mostly restored. I’m glad Poland continued to treat visitors so well in 2022.
