Once the windows are shut, it’s clean and quiet. Getting inside takes a bit of searching, though: outside on a low fence there are several locks, and you have to find the one marked with your room number. In the dark, that isn’t easy)

The apartment was just what I needed, and it’s in a brilliant spot close to the central train station. The host was lovely. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good, but otherwise everything suited me.

It’s a quiet area, and the soundproofing is good. The location worked really well for getting to my room quickly after arriving by bus. Finding the key and figuring out how to open the door made self-check-in a little tricky. Not being able to leave luggage there was inconvenient too.

The room was tiny, just a bunk bed, a table, two chairs and a bedside table. The linen was clean, and each person got one towel, though I think guests need both a bath towel and a hand towel. It took me a while to figure out the place since it was my first time staying somewhere with no reception or staff, and codes for each door. At 14:56 the entry code was activated, but there was no chip. We messaged in the chat, and a woman came out and shouted that they don’t open before 15:00. While we tried to explain ourselves, she said the room wasn’t ready and we’d have to walk around for another half hour. Still, if you really don’t have to cross paths with anyone, this hostel deserves five stars!!!
