Apartament Czerska 18

The directions were explained very clearly, and the location earns the two stars I gave. I’m reviewing the apartment at Bobrowiecka 3a. The apartment looks nothing like the photos now and is badly worn. The owner has two places, one on Czerska Street and one farther away on Bobrowiecka Street, but lists them under the same name. He says Booking.com doesn’t show the information about the second address, and Google’s listing is misleading too. The Czerska Street apartment likely has better reviews, which may be helping the rating of the other one. There are broken blinds, dirty, cracked walls, mold in the shower, bathroom lights that only partly work, a smelly kitchen drain, and a half-broken toilet lid. The cleaning was poor too. There was dust under the bed, on the blinds and children’s bedding, and hair on the bathroom soap. There was also used soap with hair in it, which had then been put in a herring bin (?). The air smelled dusty, and with a carpet on the floor, it’s hard not to wonder how much dust is in there. The kitchen and bathroom equipment are under-utilized. This place has real potential, but it needs care. I know it’s meant to bring in income, and I’m not expecting luxury furnishings, but the basics matter. It should at least be kept clean.

I stayed there on October 4, 2017, and lost my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in the internal parking lot. When I came back, it was gone. They said they’d find it and return it, but I’m still waiting. It seems not everyone who lives or works there is honest.

The neighborhood is peaceful while still being near the center of Warsaw. Łazienki Królewskie, one of the city’s most popular parks, is close by too. A good place to live.

The apartment and the life here have been the best of my life. It’s a lovely spot in the middle of a patio. We’re staying until the end, then my granddaughter, Zosia, will move in.
