The place was comfortable, clean, and stylish. I was sent the wrong pin, but one call to the staff got it sorted straight away.

Getting in touch with the owner was unpleasant. The replies were rude, and when I needed help, I got a dismissive response instead.

The Wi-Fi was impressively fast, with 1000 Mbit/s bandwidth. I could stream Ultra HD and 4K movies, video conference, and play online without lag. The bed was comfortable enough for a quick night's rest after a long day, and the area itself is quiet. Still, the agent charges a lot for this “Old Town apartment,” and I’d avoid it. The flat is in an old building listed as a historic monument in 1955, in a calm Old Town area with little traffic. It's at the top of the building and there's no elevator, something I couldn't find mentioned on Bóking Street. With a bad foot, climbing up, especially with a suitcase, was a problem. There was a package of clean linens before the apartment entrance, while the stairwell had garbage. A coat rack would help, too. Inside, the kitchenette was clean and pleasant, with a refrigerator and some appliances. The furnishings are worn but still usable, and the sofa shows plenty of wear. There's no air conditioning, so the attic gets hot in summer. The step by the stairwell entrance is hard to see because the tiles and grout are light. It needs warning tape. There was a camera above the apartment entrance, but none in the stairwell, where people were sitting, drinking vodka, and smoking. Despite the coded intercom, food delivery people all seemed to know the code. The gas heater in the bathroom was the worst part. It kept sparking before the water warmed up, so at first I had to wash in cold water. It also made noises when water was turned on in neighboring apartments. The shower faucet was damaged and pieced together. The exposed pipes and shaky heater looked rough, and the shower water stayed warm even when I turned it to cold. I'm not someone who tests all the electronics or appliances, apart from the Wi-Fi. There was also a camera connected to the apartment Wi-Fi, but I couldn't find it.

The upstairs bedroom makes this small apartment a two-level place, and it works well for two people. It's quiet, modern, and fully renovated, with a lovely feel inside an old building. The location is hard to beat for seeing Warsaw's Old Town: the Barbican and Main Market Square are nearby, and Castle Square is 400 meters away. I highly recommend it.
