Arche Hotel Pulawska Residence

Once the temperature problem was sorted, the room itself was fine. But the heating needs attention, especially in colder months, and support at reception wasn't effective. For over 1,000 PLN for two nights, that was disappointing. Our room was very cold at check-in. I told reception and was advised to turn the radiators up all the way, but it made no difference. The corridor was noticeably warmer. When I brought it up again, I was told there was no maintenance staff on site and that the room's air conditioning or heating remote didn't actually work. Apparently, it never had. They suggested an extra blanket and a cup of warm tea. A portable heater was eventually brought in and did help, though it was placed in the room while we were out, which felt a little uncomfortable. The stay was memorable, though not entirely for the right reasons.

Breakfast was tasty and offered lots of options. The rooms were clean, and room service was good. Parking right in front of the hotel was easy, and the location worked well. Big thanks to waiter Mr. Krzysztof and the Ukrainian ladies from the kitchen for great service and fantastic pierogi.

The fire alarm kept sounding loudly from morning, making the stay noisy and unpleasant. Some staff also opened guest room doors without proper notice or permission. The IT staff member was particularly rude and unprofessional, speaking to guests with an attitude and poor communication skills. When confronted, he wouldn't continue the conversation. The reception manager was no help either. I asked for a refund because of the constant noise and disruption, but she said nothing could be done and refused any compensation. I found the hospitality and customer care unacceptable. I won't return or recommend this hotel. The staff, especially the IT guy and the manager, need training in dealing with guests.

The restaurant had a variety of food, and the staff were friendly. It's a quiet, beautiful hotel near the airport, at an adequate price.
