The trains ran on time while I was using them, and the desk service was fine. Still, the departure screens only show a train when it’s four minutes from leaving, then it disappears as soon as the doors close. Trains are there for about a minute, so you could miss one without knowing it came through. Even without being in a rush, you can’t tell if you’re on the right platform until those last four minutes. Be punctual, and check what you were told at the ticket counter or the large board upstairs.

The first-class train we took was very comfortable. The platforms were spacious, and my friend, who’s a train enthusiast, quickly worked out the information we needed. Foreign visitors should buy tickets early because they sell out fast. The kiosk does have an English option, though I still found it a bit hard to use.

It was easy to find the platforms, and there are nearby shops for food and drinks. The station is clean and well organized, with good facilities. Staff were helpful, trains were mostly on time, and it’s a convenient place to travel from.

There are plenty of shops and cafés, and it’s easy to get to trains, buses, and trams. The public transportation staff were especially helpful and polite. Some ticket sellers didn’t speak English, which made things difficult at the counters. The station itself is nice, though a bit dated.
